Good is the enemy of great
We set out to make a great suitcase, not just a good one. We knew that would take the best materials and components we could find, and factory partners who held themselves to the same exacting standards we do.
Our factory partners
We met with many factories before choosing who to work with. Only a few could meet our standards, and the ones we chose stood out for their expertise, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Every finished case is inspected before it leaves the line.
A handle that feels solid
The telescopic handle is designed to feel sturdy in the hand and lock firmly at the height you want, with smooth, even travel as it extends and retracts — no rattle, no wobble.
A light, near-unbreakable shell
Every Masar case is made from high-performance polycarbonate — a lightweight, impact-resistant material that is hard to break. Because it also flexes, it absorbs the energy of a knock and springs back into shape, which makes it remarkably resilient trip after trip.
A zipperless frame closure
Instead of a conventional zipper, our cases close with a sturdy frame and rubber seals. It is harder to tamper with, keeps moisture out more effectively, and gives the case a clean, solid line all the way around.
High-performance 360° spinner wheels
Wheels can make or break a suitcase. Ours are whisper-quiet 360° spinners that roll effortlessly from narrow airplane aisles to bumpy cobblestone streets, and they are built to take the roughest handling of travel.
Certified TSA locks
Each case has an internationally certified TSA lock built in, so airport security can inspect your bag without breaking the lock, and you can travel internationally with one less thing to worry about.
Thoughtfully considered, inside and out
Inside, the case is laid out to pack neatly and keep your things in place. Outside, the metallic finish resists scratches and keeps its look trip after trip. We thought about how the case feels to use, not just how it performs.
Details matter
It took more than a dozen iterations to get the details right — the texture and finish of the shell, the precise alignment of the components, the depth of every groove. Small things to some; to us, they are how we show respect for the people who carry our bags.
Rigorously tested
Before a design is ready, we put it through a demanding series of tests — drops, wheel mileage, handle pulls, lock cycles, and more — so that what reaches you has already been pushed harder than your travels ever will.
